IMA scam: Enforcement Directorate summons Zameer Khan in ponzi scheme case

In relation to a property which he sold to I Monetary Advisory, food and civil supplies minister Zameer Ahmed has received summons from the Enforcement Directorate.

Bengaluru: Zameer Ahmed Khan, a minister in the HD Kumaraswamy cabinet (Karnataka), has been served a notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the I Monetary Advisory Ponzi scheme. The prime accused Mansoor Khan fled the country, after amassing wealth, by inducing gullible people to invest, promising high returns.

The summons was issued in relation to Zameer’s property in Richmond Town which he sold to Mansoor for Rs 9.36 lakh. Zameer received the summons and told reporters that he would submit details about it, as sought within July 7.
