Huge rush at Bengaluru city railway station since 5.00 am in the morning on Thursday as public lined up to buy tickets to get back to their respective destinations to cast vote in Lok Sabha elections

Bengaluru: As the first phase of Lok Sabha elections began on Thursday morning (April 18) in Karnataka, people were seen in huge numbers at Bengaluru city railway station to get back home to cast vote. People headed towards Mysuru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan and other districts. Also, voters from Tamil Nadu working in Bengaluru also took trains to reach home and participate in the election process. Karnataka is voting in two phases – April 18 and 23.
