Government thinking of installing underground cables for power supply: Deputy CM Parameshwara

Bengaluru: Deputy chief minister G Parameshwara expressed disappointment against the BBMP, BWSSB and BESCOM for not managing the situation properly during heavy rain in Bengaluru. More than 60 trees have been uprooted and 30 vehicles have been damaged in the city. Most part of the city faced a blackout with trees falling on electric cables, disrupting the power supply. Thus, it is being contemplated to install power-supply cables underground. He also said that people were not getting any help from the helplines.
