Bengaluru: Construction worker slips on mud pile, dies

Bengaluru: A construction worker in Nelamangala fell off a mud pile onto an under construction building and died last night (July 3). The incident occurred when the worker was returning to his tent from the construction site with his co-workers.

The deceased has been identified as Manjunath from Nijakal.

One of the co-workers stated that he and Manjunath were walking back to their tents at night when Manjunath lost balance and fell onto the next building. He said that he too fell off the mud pile, but suffered minor injuries, whereas Manjunath died on the spot.

A case has been registered in Dabaspet Police Station. An investigation is underway.
