After 7-month journey, 64-foot-tall monolithic statue of Lord Vishnu reaches Bengaluru temple

64-foot-tall statue of Lord Vishnu reached a Bengaluru temple on Tuesday. It took seven months to transport the statue from Tamilnadu to Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: A massive monolithic statue of Lord Vishnu reached a temple in Bengaluru. The statue which is 64-foot-tall and weighs 300-tonne reached the Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple in Ejipura on Tuesday (June 4) after travelling for nearly seven months from Tamil Nadu.

The arrival of the statue attracted a large number of people to the area. They gathered to get a glimpse of it and to offer prayers.

Reports said that it will take two to three years to install and complete the project. After completion of the project the height of the statue will be 108 feet.
