ISL 2021-22: KBFC has to be humble, continue working its way because it's still a long way - Ivan Vukomanovic
Kerala Blasters will be up against FC Goa next in the ISL 2021-22. KBFC is placed fifth and will aim for a win to enter the top-four. Meanwhile, manager Ivan Vukomanovic has claimed that his side needs to keep working hard.
Game 46 of the 2021-22 Indian Super League (ISL) will witness an exciting clash between Kerala Blasters FC (KBFC) and FC Goa (FCG) at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco da Gama (Goa) on Sunday. Placed fifth, KBFC will be eyeing the top four here with a win. However, head coach Ivan Vukomanovic has asked the side to keep working hard.
Vukomanovic, who is guiding KBFC for the first time this season, has done a fair job so far, staying unbeaten in seven games. He reckoned that his boys have responded well and adapted to his tactics, as he was also surprised by the fact they beat defending champion Mumbai City FC (MCFC). He asserted that the club treats every game as a final and gives everything it has.

"Any team can beat the other one in this league. So, you can never predict the results because even the top teams can lose against the bottom-placed teams, and that’s what we’ve seen. Of course, the league can improve by implementing modern technologies like VAR and Goal-Line Technology. Improving the referee’s decision making would help too. But anyway, the league is still developing in the right way. Hopefully, with more teams in the future, the league will be on a longer-term than it is right now," he reckoned during the pre-match press conference ahead of the Goa game that you can watch above.
