Vietnamese break lockdown rules, smear sputum in the lift; complaint registered in Karnataka

The Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka  which had announced total lockdown to blunt coronavirus spread, witnessed a group of Vietnamese breaking lockdown rules. In the shocking video, one of them can be seen smearing sputum in the lift after sneezing. Following a police complaint, they have been moved to Government Wenlock Hospital for further medical examination.

Vietnamese terrorise Mangaluru's Kodialbail area in Karnataka. They were not only found breaking lockdown rules, one of the foreign nationals, who was sick and sneezing, was apparently found smearing sputum in the apartment’s lift.

It is said that five Vietnamese working in a private company in Kuloor were residing in an apartment in Kodialbail in Mangaluru district of Karnataka since January. They were under home quarantine till April 4, but were allegedly violating the quarantine guidelines and roaming around in the apartment premises.

On April 17, when the association committee members checked the CCTV footage, they found one of the Vietnamese spitting inside the lift, which left other flat owners in the building petrified.

The association committee members immediately informed the police. The police visited the spot and with the help of the health department officials shifted them to the Government Wenlock Hospital for further medical examination.

Complainant Dayanand Pai said that they have violated lockdown rules and were found sneezing without wearing masks, and even smearing sputum in the lift.
