Transport strike: KSRTC drivers forced to abandon moving bus

To mount pressure on the Karnataka government, a driver in Ballari was forced to abandon his KSRTC bus.

Hundreds of passengers came to the bus stand and a few got into the bus to head to their respective destination, however, after some union leaders confronted the driver, he abandoned the bus leaving the passengers in shock.

The transport employees union attached to various bus corporations are demanding regularisation of services of contract workers and an increase in payment.
