Telangana ministers eat chicken to end rumours related to coronavirus

Hyderabad: Telangana ministers KT Rama Rao, Etela Rajender, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others ate chicken on stage in Hyderabad in a bid to end rumours that coronavirus is transmitted through chicken and egg. Sales dropped in Indian poultry market by almost 50% after rumours spread by social media claimed that coronavirus can be spread through chicken and eggs.
