RSS school students court controversy with their ‘Ram Mandir’ sloganeering in Karnataka

Students of Sri Rama Vidyakendra High School in Dakshina Kannada district, run by the RSS, demolished a replica of the Babri Masjid during a school function and created controversy by shouting slogans such as 'Ram Mandir Wahi Banegi' and 'Jai Sriram'.

Mangaluru: While the entire nation has welcomed the Ayodhya verdict, a school run by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has created controversy with their act during a school function. A video of students of Sri Rama Vidyakendra High School in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka demolishing a replica of the Babri Masjid during their school function has gone viral and courted controversy. Students performed a mock-up of the Babri Masjid demolition during a flash-flood lighting ceremony and shouted slogans such as 'Ram Mandir Wahi Banegi' and 'Jai Sriram'. The video of wrecking the Babri Masjid at the school function has now gone viral on social media sites. Allegations are rife that the school is trying to stir up communal hatred in the minds of innocent children in the name of Hindutva and plant the seeds of communism in an educational institution.
