Punjab: Man found dead in retired SP’s Jalandhar house

Jalandhar: In Punjab’s Jalandhar, a dead body was found in a retired superintendent of police’s (SP) house. The incident came to light after one of the workers at the retired SP’s house entered the bathroom to fill water. He was shocked to find the dead body. He soon informed the matter to the nearby shopkeepers and they called the police. ASI Gurudayal Singh, who reached the spot, said that the deceased has been identified as Maksuda, son of Amrik Singh. It is reported that the deceased worked as a driver in Jalandhar. He had lived there for a long time. According to police, the deceased died of heart attack and the investigation is ongoing.
