PubliCity: 1,600 additional buses with new pick up destinations to decongest traffic this Deepavali
With Deepavali vacation expected to throw traffic in Majestic, Shanthinagar and Mysuru Road Bus Station out of the gear, the KSRTC has deployed an additional 1,600 buses and has identified other bus stations in city limits to decongest traffic and save passengers some time while heading home.
Bengaluru: 1,600 additional buses and over five bus stations to ply inter-state and inter-City buses is what KSRTC has planned this Deepavali to ensure the passengers do not get stranded at the station for hours. The move is also expected to decongest traffic at transit points Majestic and Shanthinagar bus station. According to officials from Bengaluru Central Division, 500 extra buses will ply from Majestic. Some buses will start operating from Malleshwaram, Basaveshwaranagar Bus Station, Vijayanagar, Banashankari, Mysuru Road, Ganganagar and Jeevan Bima Nagar.
