PM Modi shares Mahatma Gandhi video, praises principles
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, PM Modi tweeted a video on Mahatma Gandhi and said Bapu guided the nation on his principles of satyagraha, non-violence and truth and also accorded cleanliness the highest priority.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (Oct 2) paid tribute to national icon Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary. PM Modi said that the ideas of the Father of the Nation remain a guiding force helping in building a compassionate India. He also shared a video on Twitter praising the principles of Gandhi. In the two-minute clip with Modi’s narration, he is heard saying “Gandhiji never tried to create his influence through his life. However, his life became an inspiration in itself.”
