Karnataka: Employee orders vacuum cleaner worth Rs 11,999 on Amazon, but gets a cotton box!

Bengaluru: Next time, when you harbour any desires of ordering stuff from Amazon, think twice!

A government employee by the name Sharana Gowda, from Yadgir, Karnataka ordered a vacuum cleaner worth Rs 11,999. When his parcel arrived, his joy knew no bounds. But it hit the nadir as the box he opened had cotton in it, instead of the cleaner.

Frustrated and angered at the deception, he has lodged a complaint with the police.
