Karnataka: BJP leaders display photos, brag about offering free water, food on way to crematorium

Bengaluru: Amidst the worsening Covid situation in Bengaluru, the ruling BJP faced yet another embarrassing situation after the flex board seeking cheap publicity at the crematorium was put up.

In the flex board, the way to the crematorium was mentioned, and it stated further that free food, water and tea biscuits for those who come to burn their loved ones would be given.

However, this cheap publicity backfired and after the images went viral, the public started to troll the BJP government wondering why they would give all these things when the public sought bed, oxygen and hospitals.

Immediately the area MLA and political secretary to CM BS Yediyurappa and BDA Chairman SR Vishwanath asked the officials to remove and also sought an apology saying this was done by some ignorant supporters.
