Kalasipalya's model bus terminal worth Rs 50 crore to ease traffic from December

The crowded Kalasipalaya which will house both government and private buses will witness smooth traffic flow from December onwards as BMTC’s model bus station worth Rs 50 crore will be ready soon. The bus station will have bays for both government and private operators and will be equipped with CCTV and metal detectors for passenger safety

Come December, motorists and public no longer need to fear getting stuck in traffic at City Market's Kalasipalya road and Minerva Circle as a model bus station will be thrown open to bus operators. Parked KRSTC, BMTC and private buses that presently occupy the road will all be housed at the station's bay.

Passengers who earlier had to alight at Shanthinagar or Majestic and then travel to City Market can now enjoy a smooth ride from Kalasipalya as buses to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, bordering area Anekal and Hosur will start operating directly from the area.
