Hyderabad: After a Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) train collided with the Kurnool City Secunderabad Hundry Intercity Express at Hyderabad's Kacheguda Railway Station, 20 people were injured in the incident.

The injured have been shifted to the nearby Osmania General Hospital, from where two people have already been discharged. According to reports, the cause of the accident was a fault with the signalling system that meant no alerts were sounded when the trains wound up on the same track. An inquiry into the accident has been ordered by the South Central Railway.
