Christian outfits stage protests against Raveena Tandon, Bharti Singh and Farah Khan in Pathankot

The protesters demanded immediate action against the three celebrities - Raveena Tandon, Bharti Singh and Farah Khan - for hurting the sentiments of the community. The protesters threatened to stage a massive protest if the government fails to arrest them in the next ten days.
 

Pathankot: Christian outfits staged a protest against Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, comedian Bharti Singh and filmmaker and director Farah Khan Singh in Pathankot. Farah Khan, while anchoring her show with Bharti Singh and Raveena Tandon in it, made controversial statements about a word in the Bible. The three were booked by the Amritsar Police for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a community on a TV show, a senior police official said on Thursday. Christian outfits are furious over the remarks of the three celebrities and have now warned the government to act against them at the earliest. The protesting members staged a demonstration in Halka Sujanpur of Pathankot and burnt effigies of these three. The protesters also warned the government of staging a huge protest if the three are not arrested in the next ten days. The protesters said that the three celebrities have hurt their religion.
