Britain virus bomb ticking, Bengaluru staring at another seal down?
After 7 members tested positive for Britain virus in Bengaluru so far and BBMP sealed down an apartment in Vasanthapura in Bengaluru South after mother-daughter tested positive, another round of seal down in various parts of City cannot be ruled out.
As per reports, 26 UK returnees who tested positive for Covid-19, 7 have shown positive for new strain, some had already roamed outside instead of staying in quarantine.
As the virus speared faster than Covid-19, to contain the spread, the BBMP will seal down the house or an apartment of the person who tests positive for the new strain.
As a hint to seal down, the BBMP has sealed the Siri Embassy apartment that has about 15 flats. ASHA workers, volunteers and police have been deployed to ensure essentials are supplied and no one violates seal down rules.
