Bengaluru Police commissioner, BMTC MD and BBMP officials enjoy 'Nimbus' drive on priority lane

Bengaluru: Next time when you hop on a BMTC bus travelling between Tin Factory, KR Puram, Marathahalli ring road, right up to Central Silk Board, you will have an edge over other vehicles as the Nimbus plying n the bus priority lane will ensure your travel in BMTC will be a quick one.

Marking December 11 as bus priority day, Bengaluru Police chief, BBMP officials and the BMTC MD all boarded a BMTC bus to encourage commuters to use public transport.

With tickets in hand Bengaluru Police chief Bhaskar Rao, BMTC MD C Shikha, BBMP additional commissioner D Randeep and BMTC director Anupam Agarwal urged passengers to trust BMTC's new initiative. During the roughly 40 minute-journey on the dedicated route, the officials found no vehicles encroaching the BMTC lane.
