Bengaluru accident: Car rams into bike, riders fall to death from flyover
After a luxury car accident involving Hosuru MLA's son ten days ago in Bengaluru, now another spine-chilling accident was reported from Bengaluru's Electronic City.
Due to the impact of the accident, victims were thrown in air from an elevated flyover and fell on the road. The impact was such that both rider and pillion were killed on the spot.
As per Electronic City police, car driver Nitesh driving a four-wheeler bearing registration number KA-O1-MR-2802 was riding negligently and overspeeding.
He lost control and hit the bullet registered TN-01-BD-9218 at around 9.15 to 9.20 am.
Due to the accident, the motorcycle rider and pillion rider fell from the flyover and died. The car driver Nitesh also suffered injuries and is admitted at Cauvery Hospital.
The Electronic City Traffic Police arrived and cleared traffic and shifted the bodies to St John's hospital where an autopsy was conducted.
A case under IPC section 279 and 304 (a) has been registered against the driver and the damaged car has been taken to police station premises.
Despite traffic checking and CCTV surveillance and notices, the vehicle users in Bengaluru seem to drive and ride negligently leading to such accidents.
