Leaders of the YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur repainted a wall that initially was painted like the Indian tricolour with their party flag’s colours. The incident has left residents demanding for action against those involved.

Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh’s YSR Congress Party leaders repainted a wall that was once painted like the Indian tricolour with their party flag’s colour. The incident took place in Tammadapalli village which is located along the border of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

Residents of the village claimed that YSRCP has ruined the national integrity and the nation’s pride by repainting over the Indian tricolour flag. They have also demanded for action against the party for hurting people’s sentiments.
