12-year-old from Karnataka skates her way to make India proud!

Class 7 student Ojal S Nalavadi from Hubballi, Karnataka, has now earned the country's pride by setting a new world record with her skating skills

Ojal S Nalavadi, all of 12 years has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for being the fastest girl to skate 400 metres blindfolded. She finished the 400 metres in just 51 seconds!

This Class 7 girl from Hubballi, Karnataka, achieved the feat on the recently developed TenderSURE Road at Shirur Park area. Guinness World Records officer Victor Fenes recorded the performance, and issued a certificate to Ojal. 

Ojal's coach Akshay Sooryavamshi trained her well and she has already entered into Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records and has 13 records in her name. Ojal Nalavadi said that she has been practising for two years to achieve this feat. Ojal has been a regular to the Shirur Park Area and has practised there especially for the purpose of setting the world record.

The Guinness authorities had set the time limit as 60 minutes but the young achiever finished it in 51 seconds. She doesn't stop at that. She added that she would attempt to break her own record in the coming days.
