‘Shah must resign’: Congress , AAP, TMC protest against Delhi violence inside Parliament premises

Congress MPs staged a protest over Delhi violence in front of Gandhi statue inside the Parliament premises on March 2. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MPs and All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders too protested.

New Delhi: Congress MPs staged a protest over Delhi violence in front of Gandhi statue inside the Parliament premises on March 2. MPs including Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were present during the protest. They demanded the resignation of Union home minister Amit Shah over the violence in Delhi, with ‘Shah Must Resign’ banners. AAP leaders held placards and raised slogans against violence in Delhi while TMC leaders blindfolded their eyes with black bands to mark the protest. Few days ago, anti and pro-CAA groups clashed in Northeast Delhi, resulting in major loss of lives and property. The death toll has risen to 46 in Delhi violence so far.
