Bengaluru: HD Kumaraswamy will complete one year as CM, but more than developmental work carried out by the coalition government headed by him, the coalition government will be remembered for the political drama that has overshadowed other news in Karnataka.
According to the opposition in state, the CM will most probably be remembered for his tears and attempts to reach out to rebels in a bid to retain his CM seat for most of the year.
The JD(S) defended their leader's emotional outburst saying crying is not a crime. They also said loan waiver, irrigation projects, Bangalore Metro rail work are few of his achievements to speak of, and that the coalition government has been doing a lot of work.
However, BJP spokesperson S Prakash in a statement implied that tears in the Deve Gowda family. He lashed out at the party saying, “It’s not only Kumaraswamy who has done it (cried). HD Deve Gowda has also done it, Nikhil Kumaraswamy has done it and HD Revanna has done it." Prakash said that all this is drama that will not work anymore.
