The Kirans: Bengaluru’s renowned dancer couple charms audience during COVID-19 fundraiser concert

Dancers Guru Kiran Subramanyam, Sandhya Kiran decided to offer their art to help the COVID-19 cause. Like the Kirans, other dancers Avijit Das, Ayswaria Wariar and many more turned corona warriors, and stepped on to the virtual platform aiming to mesmerise the audience with stellar performances and raise funds through this concert.

Bengaluru: Artistes from across India came together for a fundraising initiative for COVID-19 relief. KimAham Dance Academy initiated a plan to raise funds through a campaign titled "Art for a cause ". Various artistes enthralled the audience on a virtual platform from 9 am to 6 pm on May 1 and raised funds to help the poor and needy migrant and daily wage labourers. Many renowned names such as Guru Kiran Subramanyam and Sandhya Kiran (Bharatanatyam), Avijit Das (Kuchipudi), Ayswaria Wariar (Mohiniattyam), Abhishek NS (Carnatic vocal) among others were a part of the concert which went on for 9 hours as part of Instagram live.
