Coronavirus: ASHA workers manhandled while on survey, 5 arrested in Karnataka's Belagavi

Five men were arrested by Kudachi Police in Karnataka after they allegedly manhandled two ASHA workers who were conducting a coronavirus survey
 

Belagavi: In another incident of health workers being troubled on duty,  two ASHA workers were allegedly manhandled at Kudachi in Belagavi district of Karnataka when they were carrying out a survey. The incident took place on Tuesday when ASHA workers were undertaking a survey in the area following the detection of four COVID-19 cases with Tablighi links in the area. Five people have been detained in this regard. Later, the locals were taken to task by a health official who said they were putting their lives at risk just to save others' lives.
