Bengaluru: In an attempt to curb the spread of coronavirus, a disinfection tunnel has been set up at the entrance of the Pulikeshi Nagar police station in Bengaluru. Sodium hypochlorite solution is sprayed for a few seconds every time a person enters the tunnel. Upon contact with the surface, sodium hypochlorite solution is known to be enough to kill the coronavirus. 10 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours taking the total number of positive cases to 207 including 6 deaths and 34 discharges, according to the Karnataka government statistics.
