Shocking: Covid-19 victim's body abandoned on roadside by health department staff

After the shameful incident of dumping COVID-19 victims’ bodies in a pit at Ballari, a case of health department staff at Haveri abandoning a COVID-19 victim's body on the roadside has been reported.
 
The staff brought the body in a van and then shifted it on to a pushcart and left.
 
Hundreds of relatives who had arrived to pay respects were left shocked by the behaviour of the health department staff. The video of the incident has gone viral.
