It is reportedly said that hundreds of protestors clashed with law enforcement, setting vehicles ablaze, looting shops, and vandalizing property. The city witnessed a double-decker bus set on fire near the Daniel O'Connell statue, alongside windows smashed at a nearby hotel and fast-food restaurant.

Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun used the video to discuss sensitive issues such as the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, the 2002 Gujarat riots, and India's stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict. 

The mouthpiece of Thrissur Archdiocese of the Syro-Malabar Church, ''Catholicasabha', slammed the BJP and former MP Suresh Gopi for their silence on the Manipur riots. The Archdiocese also mocked the actor's 'men' remark over looking after the situation in Manipur. 

The Kerala police on Tuesday (Oct 31) filed a case against Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar accusing him of inciting riots in the state after the blast in Kalamassery, Ernakulam. He has been booked under IPC 153 and 153 A.

Former national general secretary and BJP leader CT Ravi criticized the Congress party, stating that they go beyond saffron and happily embrace the Kufis (Skull cap) of Muslims. Responding to accusations that the BJP is "fake Hindus," Ravi humorously remarked, "Yes, we are fake Hindus; this is how we keep the tilak on our foreheads and wear saffron turbans." He expressed that true Hindus do not necessarily associate with the saffron symbol. Ravi went on to suggest that he wouldn't be surprised if individuals making such claims ended up speaking on behalf of figures like Osama bin Laden in the future.
