In the third and another crucial phase for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, a total of 93 seats are going to the polls. While a total of 94 seats was to go to the polls in the phase 3, voting was not needed for Surat as the BJP candidate got elected unopposed. 

Shockingly, more than 900 incidents of fire have been recorded in the state's forests. Authorities have taken action, arresting at least ten individuals in connection with the fires.

The Almora seat comprises 14 Assembly segments including Dharchula, Didihat, Pithoragarh, Gangolihat, Kapkot, Bageshwar, Dwarahat, Salt, Ranikhet, Someshwar(s.c.), Almora, Jageshwar, Lohaghat, Champawat. Almora and the other four Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand went to polls during Phase 1 elections on April 19.

The BJP and Congress are in a direct contest in the Haridwar Lok Sabha seat in Uttarakhand which went to polls on April 19. Former Uttarakhand CM and BJP candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat is up against Congress’ Virender Rawat.
