Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, also in charge of the Finance portfolio, presented the Karnataka State Budget on February 16, outlining the Congress's priorities ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections expected in April-May.

The Karnataka government, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, has unveiled plans to develop integrated townships near key cities and satellite townships around Bengaluru. These initiatives aim to ease congestion, promote sustainable growth, and generate employment. An allocation of Rs. 2,000 crore has been made for infrastructure development in municipal corporations.

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's Janaspandana saw 12,372 applications during its second program, a threefold increase. Held at Vidhana Soudha, 246 issues were resolved instantly, with 12,126 pending to be resolved within a month. CM stressed prompt grievance redressal, warning of disciplinary action against negligent officials.

Addressing a media conference at Vidhana Soudha, Shivakumar alleges that the BJP government at the Centre has subjected it to "step-motherly treatment" in budget and other fund allocations.

Despite his global acclaim and diverse works, including the Wodeyar statue, he's awaited promised payments for eight years. MLA Basavanagowda Patil Yatnal exposed the issue on social media, urging quick resolution and highlighting the disrespect towards Yogiraj's talent and historical contributions.
