Police in Vadodara, Gujarat, have arrested six individuals, including the proprietor of 'Hussaini Samosa', for selling samosas filled with cow meat, following a raid on the establishment. The suspects lacked the necessary licensing for their operation, and an investigation has been launched to determine the source of the beef and the duration of the illegal activity.

The NIA took charge of the investigation on March 3, had previously identified Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain as the main accused who orchestrated the blast, along with another conspirator, Abdul Matheen Taha, who remains at large and is also wanted in other cases.

Lokayukta officials in Karnataka conducted surprise raids across 13 districts, including Bengaluru, targeting high-ranking government officials suspected of illegal property acquisition and amassing wealth beyond declared income. Prominent figures such as BBMP Chief Engineer Ranganath and Urban Development Authority AEE Prakash R. were among those scrutinized.
