"The entire population of Karnataka knows now that voting for Janata Dal-Secular is like voting for the Congress. How can JD-S form the government? There is neither a sentiment (in favour of JDS) nor seats,"  Union Home Minister Amit Shah told Asianet Suvarna News Editor Ajit Hanamakkanavar.

Speaking exclusively to Asianet Suvarna News Editor Ajit Hanamakkanavar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah touched upon a number of subjects, including the recent controversy surrounding Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's 'poisonous Snake' jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Amit Shah said: "They (Congress) distributed guarantee cards in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Manipur and Tripura. Those were much better than the guarantees that what they are offering here. The party that has no image, who will believe their guarantees?"

Call me after the counting (of votes). I have known the Hubli unit since the 1990s. Hubli does not vote for individuals; it votes for the party."

"Congress has worked to divide the society in the name of language and region in the country," Nadda said, adding that the BJP has developed the country on the basis of 'sab ka saath, sab ka vikas, sab ka vishwas' policy.
