Karnataka Congress leaders meet Assembly Speaker; requests to take action against dissident MLAs

While Mahesh Kumtahalli, Umesh Jhadav, Nagendra and Ramesh Jharkiholi are staying in a hotel in Mumbai from last month, State Congress leaders alleged that the four are staying with BJP leaders in the hotel.

Bengaluru: Karnataka Congress Legislative Party leader Siddharamaiah, Deputy chief minister G Parameshwara and KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao on Monday met Assembly Speaker, and submitted a charge letter to take action against the four dissident MLAs who have violated the whip of the party by not attending the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting and budget session. Mahesh Kumtahalli, Umesh Jhadav, Nagendra and Ramesh Jharkiholi are staying in a hotel in Mumbai from last month, and Congress is alleging that they are staying with BJP leaders in the hotel.
