Karnataka: With no electricity for over a week, this Vijayapura village is living in the dark

The residents of Boragi in Sindagi taluk of Vijayapura district have been living in the dark with no electricity for over a week. Due to a technical fault, the village has not been receiving electricity for over a week. Villagers are unable to even pump drinking water. The residents are travelling to neighbouring villages to draw water. The village residents are now cursing the Panchayat head and the representatives.
