Karnataka: Medical negligence leads corporator Elumalai slip into coma
Corporator Elumalai of Sagaypuram was admitted for simple abscess removal from his nose in Bengaluru's Santosh hospital.
Bengaluru: City corporator Elumalai, who went to get a simple abscess removed from his nose, slipped into coma after alleged medical negligence. The family complained that anaesthesia overdose led to this critical condition and they demanded the hospital to be shut. Elumalai was later shifted from Santosh Hospital at Frazer Town to Vikram Hospital, where he is said to be in serious condition.
