Karnataka: Foetus found in a bag in front of Kolar hospital

The foetus was found abandoned inside a bag in front of the district hospital in Kolar, Karnataka. Sources say that the foetus was aborted in a private hospital and was later thrown in front of SNR District government hospital. The incident came to light when sweepers were cleaning the streets in front of the hospital and found a bag. When they checked the bag, they were shocked to find the foetus. Immediately, they brought it to the notice of doctors, who expressed concerns about private hospitals trying to spoil the reputation of government hospitals. The district surgeon Narayanaswamy has filed a case in this regard at the Kolar Town police. So far, there is no information about parents of the child, nor about who is involved in this.
