Bengaluru lady cop rescues one-day-old abandoned baby, breastfeeds to save life

Going out of her way and rulebooks, a women police constable attached to Electronic City Police Station in Bengaluru has done the unthinkable. She took the one-day-old abandoned baby, nursed the child and gave milk. The baby was handed over to the police by the public, and a case was registered. The baby's cry in station moved this policewoman constable, who has a nine-month baby at home. The police are said to have handed over the child to the local hospital for further care.
