Malayalam actress Parvathy, who is all set for her Bollywood debut with Qarib Qarib Singlle, spoke in Malayalam during a press meet held in Mumbai.

Parvathy will be seen romancing talented actor Irrfan Khan in the movie. In the trailer, we can see Parvathy swearing in Malayalam, saying "Vegam irangu, irangu kazhuthe" (get down fast. get down, you donkey), when Irrfan misses her train.

And at the press meet, when she is introduced to the media and the audience, Parvathy said, "Ellavarkkum ente namaskaram" (sabko mera pranam in Hindi)

Immediately, the host intervened Parvathy to remind her that she was in Mumbai. However, she continued in Malayalam, asking the host "Entha?" (what?)

Following the blunder, the actress switched over to the Hindi and some times English. She said "Maaf keejiega, thodi aadat si pad gayi hai, bahut saalon se... thakreeban 10 years se mein Malayalam mein baat karti aayi hum... toh..."

It is not clear whether the actress was just pretending ignorance about speaking Malayalam in front of the Hindi-speaking media or she was accidentally speaking in Malayalam.

However, the South Indian beauty looked amazing and confidently carried herself through the question and answer session and shared her experience.

When she was asked about acting alongside Irrfan, Parvathy said that it was a "Herculean task to match up to his level of acting".

With Qarib Qarib Singlle, director Tanuja Chandra is making a comeback to Bollywood after more than a decade. Her last release, Hope And A Little Sugar, was released in 2006.

The cinematography of the film is by Eeshit Narain and the music is composed by Anu Malik and Rochak Kohli. Qarib Qarib Singlle has been shot across real locations of Bikaner, Rishikesh and Gangtok. The movie will hit screens on November 10, 2017.
