Akhilesh Yadav told the media at Jaswant Nagar, "The BJP is going to be destroyed. Farmers in Uttar Pradesh will not forgive them. We've already surpassed a century in the previous two phases, and even in this phase, the SP-led alliance would be ahead of everyone else."

Shivpal went on to say, "In terms of governance, the BJP administration has failed everyone in the state. People are feeling down. Only the SP has the ability to bring about progress in the state."

"An FIR has been issued against Pramila Pandey under relevant provisions for breach of voting secrecy at Hudson School polling station," the Kanpur district magistrate tweeted.

Polling got underway in 59 seats across 16 districts of Uttar Pradesh in the third round of Assembly elections on Sunday. The state will hold Assembly elections in seven rounds till March 7, with the results revealed on March 10.

"Today is the third phase of the Punjab elections, as well as the third phase of the UP elections. I urge everyone who is eligible to vote today to do so in huge numbers, especially young people and first-time voters," PM Modi stated this in a tweet.

Among the major parties, 30 (52 per cent) of the 58 SP candidates, 25 (46 per cent) of the 55 BJP candidates, 23 (39 per cent) of the 59 BSP candidates, 20 (36 per cent) of the 56 INC candidates, and 11 (22 per cent) of the 49 AAP candidates have declared criminal cases against themselves in their affidavits.

The trio was last seen together in public in October 2016 while flagging off the "Samajwadi Vikas Rath." The trio campaigned together once again on Thursday.

As the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election, 2022 is underway, one would be surprised to know that the script for the birth of Congress was written in Etawah before independence. One would be surprised to know that the country's oldest party has not won here for the previous 37 years.
