As far as the Indian cricket team is concerned, it is all focused on its next big task at hand, i.e. the final of the ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand in Southampton next month. Ahead of the same, the entire Indian contingent is undergoing quarantine in Mumbai before it flies out to England on June 2.

Although the quarantine is somewhat harsh and occasionally takes a toll on mental health, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has made all the arrangements to keep the players engaged. Similarly, they immerse themselves in regular workout sessions during the quarantine to keep themselves physically fit ahead of England departure.

In a recent video shared by the BCCI, players like Ishant Sharma, Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami, Ajinkya Rahane, Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav are seen working out in all possible way. Starting from running on the treadmill, followed by pushups to sits ups and some workouts related to gym equipment, it seems like Team India is leaving no stones unturned when it comes to physical fitness. BCCI captioned the post, "Getting stronger each day 💪💪".

The current quarantine period of Team India is of ten days after all the players underwent three mandatory RT-PCR tests with negative reports. Following the quarantine, they would serve a rigid three-day quarantine upon arrival in England. At the same time, they would be allowed to train in a limited capacity within the venue's bubble premises for the remaining seven days of the quarantine.

In the meantime, all the Indian players travelling to England have been vaccinated for COVID-19 with the first shot. As for their second shot, the BCCI has arranged the same in England and the players would be given their respective jabs based on the health guidelines by the United Kingdom government.
