Watch: Diwali diyas at London's 11, Downing Street

UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak was seen lighting earthen lamps outside Number 11 residece in Lodon's Downing Street, marking the festival of Diwali. Some claimed that this was the first time that such a spectacle had been witnessed on Downing Street. British Prime Minister Boris Joshnson stays next door at 10, Downing Street.

The 50-second clip shared by a group called Indians in London Group shows Britain's Indian-origin Finance Minister coming out of his residence and placing four lamps at the doorstep. Sunak is married to Indian billionaire and Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy's daughter Akshata Murthy.
