Coronavirus: Pakistan declares emergency in Balochistan, Afghanistan suspends passenger movements

New Delhi: Pakistan declared emergency in Balochistan in districts near Pakistan-Iran border due to threat from coronavirus in Iran. Movement of Shia pilgrims has also been blocked for the time being. On the other side, National Security Council of Afghanistan informed that to prevent the spread of coronavirus and protect the public, they have suspended all passenger movement (air & ground) to and from Iran. The suspension also includes the import of poultry products (eggs and chicken) from Iran and Pakistan. According to World Health Organisation (WHO), 77, 794 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported globally. Meanwhile, China reported 76, 392 confirmed cases till now, and over 2000 people lost their lives due to coronavirus in China.
