Uttarakhand flash flood: NDRF, ITBP teams buckle up rescue operation, 3 bodies recovered
While three bodies have been found following the events of the day, over 150 persons were said to be missing.
A glacier in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district reportedly burst on Sunday causing massive flood in the Dhauliganga river in Reni village. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), which is helping in the rescue and relief work being carried out after a devastating flash floods in Uttarakhand, said on Sunday that 100-150 people are believed to be dead in the disaster. It also said that three bodies have been recovered so far.
