Coronavirus vaccine will be free across India: Dr Harsh Vardhan

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has announced that the Coronavirus vaccine will be free of cost across the country.

Dr Harsh Vardhan said, "In the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination, free vaccine shall be provided across the nation to most prioritised beneficiaries that include 1 crore healthcare and 2 crore frontline workers."

When asked by media persons while he was reviewing the dry run of administering the coronavirus vaccine, he said: "Not only in Delhi, the vaccine will be available free of cost across India."
