The three-hour-long Chakka Jaam called by farmers today protesting internet suspension at borders in the aftermath of Republic Day violence ends peacefully.

To avoid a repeat of what happened on during the January 26 tractor parade, security was beefed up across Delhi & Haryana.

The protest ended with Bharatiya Kisan Union's Rakesh Tikait saying that the protests will continue until till their demand to repeal the 3 farm laws are met.

He said that the government has "time" till October 2, implying that the protesters are planning to camp at Delhi borders till then.
