Blind couple robbed of child in Bengaluru’s Majestic

Bengaluru: Basavaraj and Chinna, a couple from Raichur arrived in Majestic on Saturday along with their 8-month-old son Sagar. The family had travelled to Bengaluru to meet chief minister Kumaraswamy and seek help for their livelihood.

As they reached Majestic, Chinna fed the baby with few snacks which were spicy. Unable to bear the spice, the child began to cry. Meanwhile, a woman came to help the couple, asked them to hand over the child to her. The trusting couple allowed the child to be placed in the hands of the stranger who fled from the spot with the child in her arms.

A complaint has been registered.
