Bengaluru to honour martyrs with monolith hero stone at National Military Memorial

The 75-foot tall and 14-metre wide hero stone will soon be installed at National Military Memorial in Bengaluru to pay respect to martyrs
 

Efforts of retired air commander MK Chandrasekhar and Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar have made it possible for a monolith to come to life. A hero stone is all set to be installed at the National Military Memorial in Bengaluru. The hero stone, made of a monolith, is 75 feet tall and 14 metres wide. The hero stone was made at Koira on the outskirts of Bengaluru. It will take seven days to transport the hero stone to Bengaluru and then two days to install it. It is expected to be ready by June 26.
