30 minutes of heavy rain in Bengaluru leaves BTM layout flooded
Heavy rain in South Bengaluru began at 11:30pm on Sunday and continued till early Monday morning showing that parts of the city were still not ready to face the approaching monsoon
Bengaluru: South Bengaluru witnessed heavy precipitation on Sunday night which continued till early Monday morning accompanied by strong winds.
It only had been minutes since it began to rain and BTM layout was seen flooded. Rainwater mixed with sewage water entered houses and flooded roads.
Traffic woes worsened in the city with power cuts in many areas due to ongoing BESCOM maintenance work that was interrupted.
